A common type of paint I use is acrylic. About my art, I always say: what you see there is there—and when you look again, and see something more, that is also there. That interpretation sometimes says more about you than about what I have painted.

My deepest inspirations are nature, beauty in all its forms, and emotion. I paint for pleasure, but my goal is also to create work that is aesthetically satisfying and stirring—something that invites thought and feeling in equal measure.

I am Latvian, but my audience is international. This website is meant to introduce you to my artwork, which is a vital part of my life. A few years ago, I found myself inspired by looking at other artists' work. I gathered information, experimented, and eventually chose the path I am on today.
